Manger Food Pantry The Manger Food Pantry is open to the public after morning services on Sunday (approx. 11:30am till 1:30pm). There are no forms to fill out to qualify you. Just let Pastor Scott or Elder, Bob Hendrix know that you are there, & they will direct you to the "Manger" where you can choose your own food off the shelves. There is also a freezer with meat, fish, etc. if you have need. On the first & third Sundays of each month, we receive donations from Panera. It would be a blessing to meet you, to help you fill a practical need and pray with you (if you desire). We are in this Community to be a blessing. Our prayer is that we can bless you. ************************************************************************************************************************************** CLOTHING GIVEAWAY Once a year, SGBF hosts a CLOTHING GIVEAWAY. The dates for the Giveaway are Friday, April 27, 10am-3pm and Saturday,April 28, 10am-1pm. We will be taking donations of gently used clothing, infants to adults, on April 23-25, 10am -1pm. Please call the church for more information. 815-675-0041. **************************************************************************************************************** COMMUNITY OUTREACH FREE EVENTS Each year we host several Community Events FREE to the public: During the July 4th Parade, we hand out bottled water. In September, the public is invited to the "Harvest Day of Praise", a BBQ with all the trimmings, live music & kids games. December is our favorite month because we celebrate Christs' birth with a full blown " Celebration of Christmas Music" concert. **************************************************************************************************************** Women of Worth The Women's Ministry of SGBF is launching 2012 in PRAYER! They will meet monthly on every Second Saturday, @ 9:00am . The month of May (May 19) they will meet at the church, 9am-10:30am.
